PRESS RELEASE: Fayette Democrats Host Flip Fayette BLUE Election Party

November 3rd, 2024 — The Fayette County Democratic Committee is hosting an election night party on November 5th, 2024, at 240 Glynn St. in Fayetteville, Georgia starting at 7 PM. Attending will be the campaigns of several local candidates. Confirmed guests include:
Congressional candidate Maura Keller,
Tax Commissioner candidate Angela Haynes,
Clerk of Superior Court candidate Tonya Corbin,
School Board candidates Kim Cox-Owens, Lydia Powell, and Catherine Remkes,
County Commission candidates Vickie Butler, Bobby Jones, and Darryl Hicks,
State House Representatives Debra Bazemore and Derrick Jackson, and
State Senate candidate Kenya Wicks.
“All our amazing candidates will be there, and their families,” said Joe Clark, FCDC Chair. “It's important for us local Democrats to show them support at the end of a long campaign cycle. Especially this year, when we know some of our races look poised to flip to Democrats for the first time ever.” The Fayette Democrats are expecting over 300 local volunteers to attend, maxing out their venue capacity. Appointed the youngest Elections Board official in Georgia history in Zach Livsey.
